Our History

From Canada to Australia

After 2 years of arriving in Australia from his home country Canada, Bob Lapointe purchased a plot of 120-acre land set on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Gunderman in 1969 as a family retreat. This is the very beginning of Muskoka Farm, named after the famous lakes district just north of Toronto of Canada. Since that time, Bob and Wendy Lapointe, a former vet at Randwick Equine Centre, together with Tim Clark, a seasoned horseman, and his wife Adrienne Clark, have developed the property into one of Australia's Premium Agistment Farms.

These include upgrading farm-wide infrastructure, bringing in an array of international clients, notably from Hong Kong, and building a state-of-the-art Export Quarantine facility for esteemed clients such as the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
